David took his studies on the classical guitar with America Martinez Serrano in Sevilla, Spain and also with flamenco guitarist Oscar Herrero from Madrid.  He often integrates both styles of playing into pop, jazz and folk genres creating a unique synthesis in his musical arrangements.  Academically, he holds a Master's degree in music and a PhD in philosophy.
